Szegediner Gulasch oder Szegedi gulyás ist in Ungarn praktisch unbekannt und nicht auf Speisekarten zu finden – das entsprechende Gericht Székely káposzta (Szeklerkraut) kennt man dort aber sehr wohl. Zumindest im Winter zum Jahreswechsel sollte es doch öfter auf saisonalen Speisekarten anzutreffen sein.
